                                  At Desmet, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the design, evaluation, and mechanical integrity of equipment and vessels used in our processing plants. In this role, you will contribute to multidisciplinary engineering activities, including equipment layout development, stress analysis, and coordination with vendors to ensure efficient and high-quality project execution. You will play a key role in delivering reliable engineering solutions for both regional and global projects while adhering to industry standards and best practices.                                   Join our Global Innovation team at the R&D Centre in Kuala Lumpur, where you will play a key role in supporting pilot‑scale R&D trials focused on edible oil refining and modification. In this role, you will conduct chemical and instrumental analyses, ensure the smooth operation of advanced analytical equipment, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
                                  You will contribute directly to Desmet’s technology development by generating accurate analytical data, supporting both pilot‑ and lab‑scale process trials, and participating in innovation projects across edible oils, fats, oleochemicals, biodiesel, and renewable fuels.
